1751년 J.F Wade 가 작사 작곡한 크리스마스 성가를 미국의 유명한 가수겸

배우인 Pat Boone 이 노래 하였다. 해마다 성탄절이 찾아오면 빠짐없이 거리에

울려 퍼지는 이곡은 우리로 하여금 성탄의 현장으로 직접 참여토록 인도해 준다.

우리의 손을 다정히 잡고 베들레헴 마구간으로 인도하여 구유에 누인 아기예수를

보여 주며 경배 드리도록 제안 하는 것이다.

 

거기에 팻분의 부드럽고 따듯한 음성으로 들으니 부족한 나를 위해 낮은곳으로

오신 아기예수를 더욱 가까이에서 뵙고 싶어진다.
