雷を伴った大雨の一日だった。春の雨としては珍しくはげしかったのですが、雨は豊かな大地の生産の源である事だけはかわりないことだろう。雨を浴びせた夕方の新緑は何とも言えない生気で溢れている。激しい仕事ばっかりに追われてぐったりした体と心も静かに治まれていつのまにか思い出の所に行っている。

 

キョンポデの砂浜もいまごろ雨にぬれているんだろう。ソラクサンの山々の峰たちは雲のなかに美しく堂々と立ていろんだろう。緑の美しいその高い木の下の道を歩いてみる機会がまたくるんだろうか。その考えをするとめのまえは幽かな霧のようにみえる。その光をまたみたいなのに、何故か光の方面を見れば見るほど遠くみえる。その寂しい感じで思い出したのが上の唄なのだ。　　　　＜雲響＞
