2010 5 21(Fri) Im Jin Gak in Buddha's Birthday

Billy Soh 雲 響 2010. 5. 26. 08:48

I started  to Moon San area in the morning of Buddha's Birthday with my family. It is always my another home town of mind...

Visited Im Jin Gak and Jang Pa Ri, Pa Ju area where I had served in military days and use to visit when I have something to be thought or calm down the mind. Because of so many memories of my young days are permeated in this area so that I could get back a bit my mind control.

However, there was being newly exhibited steam locomotive which is a symbol of the tragic history of the division into North and South Korea. It had been left in the DMZ since it got derailed by bombs during the Korean War.

I'm not very much enjoying usually to involve in political argue. But just what I'm feeling is many Korean people especially young generation forgot  that extremely horrible and irrational group North Korea  is being there at just one hour far. Furthermore, they are nothing would like to change and even going more radical recently to reunify Korea under their communism ideology.

I hope  more Korean people could be feel  that we are still in the war situation when they see above bombed steam locomotive.

Over the Bridge of Freedom is the way of destination to Pan Mun Jeom where I worked in my military days.  Since I visited Pan Mun Jeom 15 years ago to have the Board Meeting by the invitation of Switzerland commander, I had no chance to see again unfortunately but am missing there.

The vanes which is being decorated at newly constructed Im Jin Gak Resort area.

Bridge of Freedom over the wire entanglements.

There are numerous traces of machine gun bullet. This steam locomotive had been bombed during operating from Seoul to Pyung Yang at the around Gae Sung therefore, operator was trying to back to Jang Dan but had derailed before arriving to the station.

A mulberry tree was growing in the steam locomotive as you see in the photograph. It was preserved and transplanted here by the back side of exhibited locomotive.
